We are in our last month of summer, can you believe it? It's the month of sunflowers out here in the Midwest, and though we don't have quite as many at 3 Hearts as we usually do, we have some that are pretty big. We planted a late crop, so there will be more later, but in the meantime, our volunteers have risen to the occasion, and I'm happy to share this light with you.

I have always loved that Avon has a long history of supporting both breast cancer research and the women going through breast cancer (providing rides, lodging, and one-on-one support to women who need it). Cancer is something I think just about all of us have been affected by either personally or through a loved one. Avon always gives15% of Pink Ribbon purchases to the cause.
