Hello! My name is Anjie Kokan, an Avon Independent Sales Representative and Leader.
I grew up on Avon products. The smell of Avon Skin So Soft
is a happy scent from my childhood. I remember my mom soaking a washcloth with
it and rubbing it on my baby brother so the bugs wouldn’t get him when I took
him on a walk in the stroller. Before my mother became an Avon manager, she was
a customer, and I have fond memories of visits from our Avon lady who was kind,
generous, and lovely. I loved it when she visited because there were always
surprises of new perfumes to sample and even little gifts of lip balms or pins.
When my mom was selling Avon, I was always excited when the boxes came in, and
I loved to help her take inventory and pack the bags. Avon has always been a
sweet thing for me. When my daughter was born, I became an Avon rep in Michigan
for a while, but a move to Wisconsin brought other changes to my life.
I signed on to Avon again not too long ago for various reasons,
one being a job loss and the other being a need to be home with my family
during these uncertain times. I am a mom to two awesome adult children, and one
is on the autism spectrum and lives with me. Since these changes in times, my
family is not relying on as many outside caregivers to help with my son like we
used to do. I knew working with Avon would
give me an outlet to earn some income and allow me to still be available for my
family. I also knew it would be something that would provide me with a chance to be creative and have some fun, too.
Another reason I joined Avon is that I was unable to find an
Avon lady near me, and I was in search for some good old-fashioned customer
service. In order to get the sale prices from Avon online these days, you need
to order from a representative. I did that, but lacked any connection with my sales
reps. Now, I can confidently say that I am able provide top notch customer service
with a personal connection to anyone who is looking from my community or
beyond. It is my pleasure!
Whether you are a customer who is local or one that lives
far away, I value you and look forward to getting to know you. While
times are so different right now, I think a relationship with someone who is serving
you is extremely valuable. I keep an active Facebook VIP page for my customers
that not only features information about products, but also gives us the chance
to interact, share, and enjoy conversations and snippets of joy. I also really
