Avon's Elastine Propoli Thera Products for Curly Hair
If you have curly hair like I do, you probably have tried a lot of products over the years to find just the right one. And you probably have switched up products on your quest to find the best products, or combination of products, that will get your hair looking the best it can be.
Avon introduced a new line last year called Elastine Propoli Thera, and this curly-haired Avon lady is pretty happy with it. The Propoli Curl Cream is truly the star of the bunch and smells amazing.
Free of parabens and sulfates, this Elastine Propoi Thera line shines with the miracle of one of nature's busiest workers --- the bee! You will find honey (for moisture), royal jelly (for luster), and propolis. Now, to be honest, before using this line, I had never heard of propolis, pronounced "PRAH-puh-lis."
Fun Fact: Propolis is also referred to as "bee glue" because the bees use it to seal openings in the hive and to make the hive opening smaller in order to best protect it.
Propolis will nurture and repair your hair for it has vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants.
Below are the Elastine Propoli Thera hair products I have been using and why I like them so much.
1. Propoli Thera Curl Cream - If you only have room in the budget to try one product of this line right now, I would try the curl cream. It's amazing and will make your curls soft, defined, and bouncy without drying them out. It helps control frizz, too. I really love it, and so does my sister.
2. Propoli Thera Serum - This helps repair your hair. You can put it on before your curl cream. A tip my oldest told me is to mix the cream and serum together, and I do that now for great results.
3. Propoli Thera Leave-in Conditioner - This product is in a spray bottle, and the spray comes out in a nice mist to evenly coat your hair. Because my hair is ultra thick and curly, I use the leave in as a touch-up later in the day. If I have been outside in the sun, sometimes my hair will get dry regardless of what products I have in it. I mist my hair for a touch up, and the Propoli Leave-in Conditioner restores the moisture without adding frizz. If I need to go somewhere in the evening, this is my "freshen up" go to.
4. Propoli Thera Shampoo and Conditioner for Damaged Hair - (There is also a volumizing shampoo and conditioner from this line). To start, I love these because they are 16.9 ounces each and will last a long time. It is high quality, so you will not need a lot of the products. The bottles come with a convenient pump, so it is very easy to get just the right amount without wasting it.
5. Propoli Thera Hair Mask - I use this at least twice a week, sometimes three. This is excellent for ALL hair types, especially if you have color-treated or chemically-treated hair. It will not only provide much needed nutrition for your hair, it will also protect your hair from the damage that heat and styling can do. I notice my hair is super soft after using this, and I can tell if I go too long without it. This product is pretty mighty and amazing. You only need to use a small amount and this should last a while.
